Urbanpromo 2022
Turin will become the city for the discussion and in-depth analysis of urban issues, urban regeneration and housing policies, from 11 to 14 October 2022.
Cascina Fossata will host the event “Urbanpromo Progetti per il Paese” (Urbanpromo – Projects for Italy), organised by the National Institute for Urban Planning and Urbit in collaboration with the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT, Fondazione CRC, and the collaboration of CDP Immobiliare Sgr.
It will be divided into four events: “Urbanpromo Città”, “Urbanpromo Social Housing”, “Urbanpromo Green” and “Urbanpromo Digital”, following the usual formula that combines a full programme of meetings and conferences (the programme includes more than 40 conferences) and the exhibition, which takes place both at the exhibition venue and online, at https://urbanpromo.it/info/.
The “Urbanpromo Città” meetings, which will take place over the four days of the event, will focus on the main topics of interest in the public eye on actions and innovations concerning the renewal of cities and territories.
The four sessions of the twelfth edition of “Urbanpromo Social Housing” are organised in collaboration with Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Housing Sociale, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Sviluppo e crescita CRT and CDP Immobiliare Sgr. In line with the evolution of social housing strategies, the “Urbanpromo Social Housing” programme has shifted in recent years from analysing the innovations mediated by the projects to strengthening the relationships between interventions and the urban context of reference.
“Urbanpromo Green” explores the ways in which the guiding principle of sustainability is presented in urban and territorial planning, as well as in the design and implementation of interventions. This is the sixth edition, which unfolds its programme over the four days of the event. It is organised in collaboration with the University Iuav in Venice.
Finally, there is the second edition of “Urbanpromo Digital”, which, in addition to comparing and sharing experiences promoted in different Italian cities, it explores the potential role of digital technologies as a tool to support public administrations, companies and research centres.
The modalities for participating in the conferences and initiatives of the “Urbanpromo – Projects for Italy”, whether in presence or online, can be found on website page https://urbanpromo.it/info/, where you can also view the detailed programme.
